AnimeRulezzz.org is a website developed via voluntary contributions. The
contents of the website can be freely used by everyone, but as many use to say – “there is no free lunch”. The
monthly maintenance costs for our server amount to approximately 65€, and we have to purchase new HDDs on a cyclic
basis, as well as replace broken components. We also need to increase the quality of the international connection to
our server since its current one is extremely insufficient, which respectively causes many of you to suffer. We can’t
force you to give us any money by compulsion, and it’s also not the right thing to do. That is why we rely on your
goodwill to help us keep the site running by donating a small amount of money to cover our maintenance expenses. Your
donations will NOT be used as payments for (the hard work of) administrators, developers and contributors or for any
other profit or financial gains. We work entirely on a voluntary basis and we do not receive any money for our work
and we do not get paid. Each of your cents will be spend on the aforementioned maintenance costs, so in the end it
goes back to you and is an investment for your comfort in the website and for its growth and advancement.
Please help us to keep you happy! You can support us via donations. Currently, we prefer donations per PayPal. If
you would like your name (and/or nickname, if you want to preserve your privacy rights) to be featured on the list of
donors/benefactors (financial supporters/contributors), please do not forget to mention it when sending your donation
(write it in the field "Purpose" on PayPal’s interface). If you donate sums of 5€ or higher, you could also propose
a link to your website/blog to be included in addition to your name and the amount of your donation.
We also receive/welcome grants and gifts of servers and hosting or bigger financial donations from community and
private foundations, as well as in-kind contributions (i.e. given in goods, commodities, or services) from corporations.
In short, your support helps us to pay for the technology infrastructure that keeps AnimeRulezzz.org running and growing.
