Komachi is one of the 6 officers of the research mission Annex I and is its captain. He participated in the Mars research mission BUGS 2 with his girlfriend when he was only 22 years old. Unfortunately, he and his team weren't ready for the clash with the mutated humanoid cockroaches. Komachi is one of the only 2 survivors of that mission as well as the only one who has set foot on Mars twice. He wants to avenge his comrades' death more than anything else. He is the strongest person of the Annex I mission. He uses the powers of the Japanese giant hornet bug. He and Michelle K. Davis managed to to convince Akari to join the research mission on Mars.
