Ak(u)nadin is the brother of the previous Pharaoh, Aknumkanon, but keeps this fact as a secret, which only few know about. He creates the Millenium Elements to protect the Kingdom with their power. He is the guardian of the Millenium Eye, but it controls him with the powers of darkness. During his life, Aknadin hates his brother secretly because he always has to stay in the Pharaoh's shadow and because of his service to Egypt, he had to abandon his wife and his young son. Years later when Seto appears in the palace, Aknadin recognizes him immediatelly as his son and starts taking care of him. Now his dream is to see his son as a Pharaoh and he wants to give Seto a power that is comparable only with the power of the Gods - the powers of the Blue-Eyes Dragon. Seto learns that Aknadin is his father, not until the dark powers overtake Aknadin and the summoning of Zork Necrophidius. Aknadin does not give up his dream, Seto to become the Pharaoh and even after his son's denial, he seizes his mind and body and confront Atem.
